- To implement semester system at UG level from the year 2009-10 and P G level from the year 2011-12, and to introduce MCQ’s at UG course
- Designing of curriculum for UG and PG Courses as per AICTE norms
- Publication of calendar of events and conduct of classes, examinations and all other activities strictly as per the calendar
- Review of academic programmes from time to time
- Starting and conducting new academic programmes in thrust areas

- Revision of syllabus and system of examination every 3 years as per the global needs
- Continuous accreditation of various programmes of UG and PG by NAAC and NBA. Emphasis on Total Quality Management (TQM) by ensuring quality of teachers and students as well as quality of tools used for evaluation or assessment of performance of the students scholastic ability and sharpened Skills

- Completion of staff portfolio with inclusion of points scored for academic and professional attainments. Emphasis on self appraisal of teachers and students feedback on the performance of the teachers
- Emphasis on collaborations with reputed Indian and Foreign institutions
- Strengthening of linkages with AICTE, ICMR, PCI, DST, DBT, CSIR, AYUSH, UGC etc. for research and extension programmes
- Continuing education programmes for teaching and nonteaching staff members
- Organization of at least 10 staff development programmes, one national and one international event
